Why Gracie Barra

Gracie Barra is a global community dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential.

Whether you want to improve your fitness, learn self-defence, or become part of something bigger, Gracie Barra provides the highest-quality training in a structured and supportive environment.

The Gracie Barra Method

The Gracie Barra Method is a shared teaching system created by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. to help instructors deliver safe, structured and consistent Jiu-Jitsu to everyone. Built on seven core elements - all grounded in risk management - it ensures every class is taught with safety, progression and high teaching standards.

This unified method means that wherever you train, you receive the same level of guidance and care. At Gracie Barra, the student of one instructor is a student of all, and we all learn together under the legacy and leadership of Master Carlos Gracie Jr.

What is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling martial art that teaches children how to use technique, balance and movement instead of strength. It helps kids grow in confidence, improve discipline and stay active while learning in a safe and friendly setting.
